Soliloquy in an International Cloister

Watch your step as Brother Lawrence takes you inside the monastery walls of a five hundred year-old international order. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wish you had ignored your hormones and joined the monastery.

Il Postino

This explains why our mail is, not to put too fine a point on it, sporadically delivered. Our mail carrier must be Italian. That would also explain why we are apt, on the days it IS delivered, to receive mail addressed to other people with different names, while one can only guess who gets ours.
