An elderly brother was visiting from another monastery in order to attend a funeral....
Solicitous brother: How are you getting back to your monastery, brother?
Elderly brother: The undertaker is going to drive me there.
Solicitous brother: Make sure you sit up and occasionally say something!

Oh, thank you for the much-needed laugh, Brother Lawrence. That is excellent advice which the elderly brother would do well to heed.
It's nice to know I still have a reader out there. If failure to blog regularly were a sin, I would surely be destined for "warmer climes" in the afterlife.
